At the end of July we headed to the Outer Banks in North Carolina, around the same place that the Wright brothers chose to test their airplane. There’s a reason why the first airplane flew in the Outer Banks:
I would have tested my plane in the Outer Banks, too. You know what else flew in the Outer Banks that week? Sand. Umbrellas too.
Luckily, the wind was only that bad two afternoons. We were also fortunate that flying sand exfoliates you, leaving you with younger, healthier skin.
